Saima Nasim’s study is in the field of Conflict Management and Resolution. Conflict Management and Resolution is designed to address conflict at a variety of levels.
Saima works at the National Conflict Resolution Center as a Conflict Management Specialist. She works in Mediation and leads Conflict Coaching sessions. Saima is also serves as a Certified Trainer with The National Conflict Resolution Center.
Saima holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Conflict Management and Resolution from The University of San Diego. Nasim’s focus is on holistic mediation methodologies, conflict analysis and an in-depth study on the Prophet Muhammed’s (PBUH) approach to conflict resolution and negotiation.
Years of experience in community work has led Saima to a continued passion for community involvement with a focus on growth and innovative ideas. She has been a member of organizations such as Muslim Youth Council, Manitoba Islamic Association, MSA and Noor Islamic Center Social Committee. Saima has also worked at a National level with MYNA and ISNA. While working with multiple organizations and communities, she has planned and led a number of large scale events.
Saima currently sits on the board CAIR San Diego and completed a three-year term on the Board of MCC (Muslim Community Center) as the Education Director. She has established an ongoing part-time Hifz program and co-founded Hikmah Youth Intensive Classes. She has initiated and co-initiated a number of key successful programs throughout San Diego, including the annual community-wide Family Conference; Reclaiming Our Faith.
